After testing the product, we unfortunately found a few problems with My Pink Wink. In our full review, we’ll discuss the positives and negatives of this product for you, to see if this is the product for you.
What are the Ingredients?
The best way to get to know a product is to know what it’s made from. The two main ingredients are Oligopeptide-68 and Nonapeptide-1. These are peptides that naturally even fade discoloration in the skin. My Pink Wink uses all biogenic ingredients. These are substances that your body naturally produces.
Peptides are chains of amino acids and are the building blocks of proteins in the skin. By using products that contain peptides, it can encourage your skin to create collegian, an important protein in anti-aging. When your skin loses collegian, that is when wrinkles form. So, by having these peptides as their main ingredients, using My Pink Wink will naturally promote youthful, healthy skin and whitening.
Thanks to the use of natural ingredients, My Pink Wink is hydroquinone-free free from harmful chemicals and is less likely to cause a reaction. Other products that contain harmful substances have side effects that can cause irritation, redness and allergic reactions. That is not to say you definitely won’t have a reaction, but it is much less likely, and it won’t be due to harsh chemicals.

C12-15AlkylBenzoate: this is found in a lot of anti-aging products. C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate is a type of skin conditioner which is known to smoothen your skin as well as lighten it
Ceteareth-20: a type of alcohol, this functions as an emulsifier and cleansing agent
CetearylAlcohol: this is used as an emollient. Cetearyl Alcohol makes it easier for the cream to spread more evenly, giving you better coverage
HydrogenatedLecithin: this is to improve the absorption of the cream, allowing it to sink into the skin better. Hydrogenated Lecithin is also known to fight dry and damaged skin and acts as a moisturizer
ButyleneGlycol: This ingredient is used as a solvent, which makes it easier for the other ingredients to mix and bind together. Butylene Glycol is also used here as an epidermal conditioner and a viscosity-agent, which allows the cream to blend into the skin easier
SodiumOleate: this is commonly found in soaps. Sodium Oleate is a type of sodium salt that acts as a cleanser in beauty products
Dextran: Dextran is used in both beauty products and in medicine. Its main purpose is to improve support iron and blood flow, promoting better circulation
AscorbylTetraisopalmitate: a derivative of Vitamin C, used to promote youthful skin. Vitamin C is known to protect your skin from the effects of aging
DiazolidinylUrea: this is a preservative. Diazolidinyl Urea is widely used in beauty products and cosmetics
IPBC: another preservative that is also widely used in beauty products and cosmetics
Whilst the product uses biogenic ingredients irritation may still occur. Before you use this product, you should first perform a patch test. Whilst My Pink Wink uses biogenic ingredients and is less likely to cause any reaction, you should make sure. To do this, rub a small amount of the cream into a less sensitive area of skin, such as the back of your hand. Wait for the cream to dry and check for any kind of reaction. If any redness or irritation occurs, then do not continue using this product and consult a dermatologist if it persists. If you do this, you will be thankful that you didn’t go straight into using the cream in a more intimate area.
My Pink Wink is easy to use. The cream should be used on clean, shaven skin for best results and an even cover. It’s best to apply the cream a few days after shaving so that the area is clean, but your skin has had some time to heal. First, you need to clean the area you want to apply, then gently exfoliate, being careful not to break any skin. By doing this you remove any dead skin
and dirt that could be on the area, which will give the cream a more even cover and allow deeper penetration into the skin. After each application, wait around 10 minutes for the cream to dry. For the best results in a shorter time, My Pink Wink cream should be applied 2-4 times a day.
Four applications a day seems a bit much when there are other products that only require one or two applications a day. And waiting 10 minutes after each time for it to air dry will really take a lot out of your day. We would rather be doing something else with that time. There are other products available that require fewer applications and will give you the same results in a much quicker time. If you’re prepared to put the work in, then you can give My Pink Wink a try. But I think a lot of us don’t want to be wasting a lot of time on a product that might not give us the results we want in a reasonable amount of time.
My Pink Wink claims to give fast results (the manufacturer says that you should notice a change in 2-4 weeks). However, we found that this does not seem to always be the case, and in fact, it could take a lot longer before you reach your desired results. Considering this product needs to be applied 4 times a day, and you may not notice any results for at least a few months, it appears to be more work than it’s worth. We did like the product as a whole, but there are some aspects of it that we didn’t like and want you to consider before trying this one out yourself.
This product does work, maybe after a longer time than you expect, but you will get the results you want. If you’re willing to put in the work then it’s good to know that you will get what you want, however after so many applications a day for so long, you’re more likely to run out of steam and enthusiasm before you notice any change.
It is also important to consider that the time it takes for you to start seeing results depends on the complexion of your skin at the point of use. Beauty products such as My Pink Wink will take longer to work on darker complexions than on those with lighter complexions. Bleaching products do not provide permanent effects either, so you will need to re-apply. If you have a darker complexion, we would advise you to look for a product that actually does give you your desired results in a shorter amount of time.
The two preservatives in the formula can be known to cause some skin irritation, so whilst it advertises itself as biogenic and is supposed to be suitable for very sensitive skin, that might not really be the case. just be are of any anal bleaching side effects that could occur. This may be more unlikely to happen than if you chose a product that has used mostly synthetic ingredients in its formula, but you should be aware that there may be possible side effects.
In short, this product does work. We did see a noticeable change and we generally liked it. If you bought My Pink Wink you will more than likely get what you want out of it, but don’t expect the fast results it claims.

There aren’t any physical stores that we can see that definitely sell this product, so we would advise you to stick to their official website for your intimate bleaching needs.
This product does not come cheap. If you are on a strict budget we’d advise shopping around a bit. Whilst we liked the product as a whole, you should check out some other bleaching creams that may be cheaper before deciding if this has value for your money.
Whilst this product does work if you put the time in, it certainly doesn’t work in a ‘wink’ as the product advertises.
